[@AndrewBennet] has supplied an SQL script to remove Oxris/Hyrax associations on 5.18. This will enable us to fix issues whereby duplicates have been merged/purged differently in two different systems

https://github.com/tomwrobel/ora_data_model/blob/master/sql_scripts/OxfordClearHyraxAssociations.sql

This needs to be deployed to Oxris Production eventually.

This issue is not about Oxris' release cycle, but about how we work together to test this SQL script once Oxris decide to deploy it.

I suggest that we (at a time convenient to the Oxris team and fitting in with their release schedule):

  • Write a test script
  • Create sample "duplicate" objects in Oxris test and ORA4-DEV-SYMP
  • Run the migration update tool in Oxris test to create associations between Oxris/Hyrax objects in ORA4-DEV-SYMP
  • Purge/merge objects in Oxris test and ORA/Hyrax ORA4-DEV-SYMP
  • Deploy the SQL fix to Oxris test
  • Re-harvest from ORA4-DEV-SYMP and test that the previous associations have been removed.
