Metadata about the design -- designer, contact, license, etc. -- is important. I'd like to add those to the generated files like the Gerbers (license header, for example) and the SVG in the document property dialog (the screen grabs below are from Inkscape 1.0beta2).

PCBmodE will now insert the specified metadata into the Inkscape SVG so it appears in the Metadata and License tabs in Inkscape's Document Properties. I've also encountered an Inkscape bug, and suggested improvements:
