Improvements to plot axis ranges #242

Add some margins in the y direction. Especially plots with a constant value (horizontal line) don't look good right now because the line shows up right at the very top of the plot. Maybe do some tests with other plotting utilities to see how they determine their axis ranges (e.g. Matplotlib, MATLAB, ...)
Fit x and y direction (instead of only x) for plots with fixed aspect ratio (e.g. profile curve)
