Testing on playground and nothing happens when you click on Open or Print. Witch matches my own findings in my own code - works Chrome though.

Download works though.

Everything works in Chrome.

IE11 on Windows 8.1

Data URIs in IE can only be used for images. This is an IE limitation. Unfortunately I have no concept for a workaround

Problem is in Internet Explorer and is not expected fix by Microsoft, if is IE in clinic death.
In #800 marked as unsupported.
