Developer meeting summary - 07/12/2023

• Discussion about crediting contributors:
  • on PyPi, we agreed to the generic contributor alias "BrainGlobe developers" and generic email address
  • AT to rework the website to update the info around core developers in a "Who we are" section.
  • We are in favour of being broad in terms of acknowledging contributors, but also low admin / maintenance.
• Retrospective of UCL-based work planned for January, to align with issue triage
• Brainrender is supported again 🎉
  • two new issues have popped up
  • AF to fix those, move all GUI functionality to napari, and deprecate the GUI next.
• Brainglobe course has been piloted, was well attended and helped us find various minor installation problems and bugs
• WG has kindly agreed to sort out issues with the pypi classifiers of the old names of repos, so they don't/do show up in the napari GUI installer
• SM to focus on perfecting cellfinder benchmarks
• AT to spend time working on the issues backlog
