Description

Desktop mode can't be disabled on nightly

Steps to reproduce

1. Install 1.17.1 on tablet
2. Open a page and open menu, desktop mode is enabled
3. Try to uncheck the setting, doesn't work
4. Go to site settings, desktop mode is disabled (default value)

Expected result

Should not enable desktop mode by default and should be able to disable it if enabled manually

Additional information

Note: On mobile, clicking Desktop mode doesn't select the option but page reloads to desktop mode. Clicking the option again doesn't revert back to mobile view
