Description

Hovering my mouse over elements in the developer tools no longer has any effect.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open develop tools on any website
  2. Move your mouse over HTML elements

Actual result:

Brave is on the left. Chromium is on the right.

Expected result:

Hovering has an effect

Reproduces how often:

Always

Brave version (brave://version info)

Brave 1.31.87 Chromium: 95.0.4638.54 (Official Build) (64-bit)

OS Linux

Version/Channel Information:

Miscellaneous Information:

Brave is installed as a Snap through Snapcraft.

Yes, I encounter this problem as well and this is so trouble..
You can try going into the devtools setting and click "Restore defaults and reload"
It will back to normal, but the problem will still occur later

also if you modify the state of the css via the checkboxes in the styles panel the html will begin to mess up.

This issue appears to be outdated. Both the highlighting of dom elements and the live modification of css properties works as expected. Closing, please reopen, or open a new issue if necessary.
