Brave causing soft crash?

Description

Been experiencing Windows soft crashes for the past ~2 month. Computer will studently freeze while browsing and becomes unresponsive. Hardware diagnostics (including RAM and SSD health checks) didn't find anything wrong, OS diagnostics didn't find anything either. No OS/drive upgrade or hardware changes in the months before the issue started to appear. Issue very similar to what is described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/brave_browser/comments/rvx7jf/is_brave_crashing_my_pc/ though on a much recent computer.
What's leading me to think Brave might be causing it, is the issue occurs almost every single time when Brave is open, with Twitter tabs active (or recently active) and a few times while browsing Reddit. Frequency varies a lot, from one in a week to once per day. Started occurring around late November/early December. Brave has been kept up-to-date all this time it has been happening.
