Description

HTTPS Upgrades count increasing on each page reload

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Clean profile 0.60.27
  2. Open espn.com
  3. Verify that there is no HTTPS upgrade count increment
  4. Open fortune.com and see HTTPS upgrade count
  5. Reload fortune page
  6. HTTPS upgrade count is getting incremented on each page reload

Actual result:

HTTPS Upgrades count increasing on each page reload

Expected result:

HTTPS Upgrades count should not increase on each page reload

Reproduces how often:

Always

Brave version (brave://version info)

Brave 0.60.27 Chromium: 72.0.3626.96 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)
Revision 84098ee7ef8622a9defc2ef043cd8930b617b10e-refs/branch-heads/3626@{#836}
OS Windows 10

Reproducible on current release: Yes

Website problems only:

  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? NA

Not reproducible on Linux.
