Step creation popup doesn't appears on single click

Describe the bug
When a user tries add new step in the tutorial he/she needs to double inorder to open the popup for step creation . This is because the state is not getting updated when the popup is closed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Complete the login process
2. Fill the details in the dashboard
3. Create a tutorial and just click once on the ADD NEW STEP button on the top left
4. You will see that no popup is appearing for step creation

Expected behavior
The popup should appear on a single click
