Hi,

Could a simplified version be created?

This would help with broader adoption and possibly save more lives!

My thinking would be a red box with a glass window that you could break. Not too dissimilar to those for fire-hoses.

Instead of a hanging key, you would have a hanging pen-drive containing some microprocessor (such as a Arduino Pro Micro, or compatible) with HID functionality that would only output :q! (or similar) in a loop constantly.

This way - in a panic situation - one could just simply rage against the glass panel breaking it, remove the drive, plug it in and save the day!

Perhaps suggestions from this comment could also be implemented, but executed from within VIM with :! <command>?
