I have three litte problems with this config:

1. The green background color of the RAM symbol also sets the background of the CPU values left of it.
2. In the name of the first tab (zsh) there is a warning that yq is missing. What is yq in this context?
3. the window_right_separator '' is displayed with inverted colors

tested terminals: alacritty, KDE konsole

I updated the config that it now works with the current version v2.1.0 of the Catppuccin theme. The previous config was based on an older version and several things have changed since.

Also the standard cpu status module is now changing the background, I redefined also this module. And renamed the cpu and memory module.

The error with yq missing comes from the plugin [joshmedeski/tmux-nerd-font-window-name]https://github.com/joshmedeski/tmux-nerd-font-window-name). For this plugin the tool yq must be installed on your system.

I hope this config works now for you.

Here's my Zellij classic layout style inspired config. Requires #413 to be merged first.
Two versions for both @catppuccin_window_number_position set to "left" and "right". I couldn't use %if > %else directives to handle this due to how tmux read config file without having to source multiple files and having different version is easier to read imo.

Thank you! I can try with the PR. But I have weird problem with the config I showed above.
I don't know why but if I start tmux with the config snippet above, The middle separator is broken, but if I reload the config with tmux source-file <filename> then it works fine again. Can you try and confirm for me?

It looks like the %if "#{==:#{@catppuccin_window_number_position},left}" statement returns false and it use the else statement instead. Even if I have set -g @catppuccin_window_number_position "left" in the top of the file.

This is a quirk of tmux itself and how it parses configuration, see https://github.com/tmux/tmux/wiki/Advanced-Use#conditional-directives

Parsing and execution are split into two phases, so your config file is first parsed and then executed. The %if directives are resolved during the parsing stage, before any options have been set (because option setting is part of the execution phase). We have overcome this in the plugin itself by splitting the option setting and it's dependents into two separate files.

tl;dr you'll need two separate files to achieve this. It sucks

I wanted to do something different. Theme is heavily inspired from hyprland and polybar.

Overview

Status line overview:

• Left status: session indicator, current pane command, current pane folder
• Window status: window index
• Right status: battery, internet, date time

Window status:

• all the window numbers (with a few exceptions) are colored with rosewater
• last window number is colored with peach (to differentiate it from the rest)
• active window number is base with the background of peach

Prefix active

• the session indicator turns red when the prefix si activated

Split in window

Zoom indicator

• the zoom indicator is visible only when a pane in the window is maximized

Window bell and activity notification

• the window status will show which window triggered a bell or activity event

Window renaming

• to delete the window name, rename the window to "Window"

Other

• battery icon and text background turn red when battery falls bellow 10%
• internet icon and text background turn red when you are no longer connected to the internet

Hi, I read through your post and found it excellent. I made some minor adjustments based on it. Specifically:

1. Middle Section: I retained the default @catppuccin_window_flags for the theme as icon and used the theme's own configuration options to achieve a similar effect.
2. Left Section: I removed the display for zoom (as the middle section now provides corresponding icon prompts).
3. Right Section: I didn't make any changes to this part.

Regarding the appearance in the screenshot: I’m using a desktop + virtual machine setup, so there’s no battery or Wi-Fi information visible. Additionally, the blacked-out area before @ubuntu is my hidden username.
