@del42 raised a good question at Data Acquisition Office Hours about which signals to include, given a large number of derived channels from the monitors recorded in the waveform files. Below is my suggestion for waveform and numeric inclusion; please feel free to leave comments on this thread about any recommendations you or your lab has for minimum signal inclusion. If you have not already done so, please post a description of channel names in this discussion; counts aren't required but very useful for getting an idea of signal prevalence.
Waveforms
ECG (required)
PPG (required)
Arterial and venous pressure (ART, ABP, PA, FEM, CVP)
Intracranial Pressure (ICP)
Atrial Pressure (LA, RA)
Chest Impedance/RESP
The above should cover most waveforms; we'll take what you have with the first two expected for all patients in an ICU.
Numerics
HR
SPO2
NBP
This is more sparse relative to the number of possibilities; the numeric signals can generally be derived in post so we have more flexibility here. That said, there's some value in using the direct outputs of commercial monitoring for model development, so original numerics are still requested.
If you are unsure about sending all signals, you can try dropping down to just these and seeing if it improves the size of the file. If there isn't significant improvement, you are encouraged to send all data.
