Improve initial home page to show more meaningful data

The initial home page was originally designed to be light-weight. Unfortunately it does not show any useful data and its presentation is lacking, which is a shame as this is the landing page when users login.

Consider how to improve this view to better show information for endpoints and favorites that give users a better jump point into the rest of the application.
