Thank you for the work on this plugin.

"Elasticsearch Reindexing Plugin provides a feature to create a new index from an existing index. If you want to add new analyzers or make changes to existing fields, you need to re-create your index."

Does this mean that I am not able to use the reindex feature if the new index has new mappings? Seems like that is where most of the usefulness of this tool would lie no?

elasticsearch decides mappings automatically if you do not create a target index before reindexing.

It also let's you manually define custom mappings for attributes to prevent errors by guessing. So It seems my question still stands.

Am I not able to use the reindex feature if the I want to set different mappings for specific attributes on the new index?
