I am using overlay volume mounts to share a directory between several containers, it works pretty well on my local machines
but when I use it in a VM on AWS or GCP with the shared folder in a multi attach EBS volume in AWS or a hyperdisk in GCP it is extremely slow, also tried to increase the IOPS and throughput of the disk but we got the same result.
Podman version: 4.9.3
File system of the disk attached: ext4
Rootless: yes
Read only container: yes
