when i set the option CreateEmptyBlocks = false
i can not start the gaiad or basecoind in my testnet with the err
ERROR: config option CreateEmptyBlocks = false is currently unsupported

As the error states, CreateEmptyBlocks was not supported on versions 0.35 and older. #4624 fixed this and is included in the the latests 0.36 rc's. If this functionality is vital to your application I suggest updating to the latest rc.

Also setting CreateEmptyBlocks = true will remove this error message and allow your application to start
