Previous with gaiacli there was ~/.gaiacli/config/config.toml that we could put a default chain-id and node in for all gaiacli commands.
Does an equivalent exist now that it's just one gaiad binary and it uses the app.toml and config.toml? Can the node and chain-id be set in one of those or in another config ?
Haven't managed to find anything in a migration doc.
Also would be great to be able to set a default for eg. the keyring-backend as well. For folks using hardware wallets they should just be able to use test and not need to enter any passwords or access their system keychain ...
Sorry i should have clarified as well earlier that the missing gaiad config command is also something we should address.
I think this got missed when we migrated to a single application binary. I'll leave this issue open for tracking the upgrade to docs (@AmauryM is working on this from our team), and for re-introducing the gaiad config command we'll be tracking that in #8529.

Also it seems like these docs are stale ? https://hub.cosmos.network/main/delegators/delegator-guide-cli.html#setting-up-gaiad . There doesn't seem to be a
gaiad config
command ?I think we may be missing a migration/upgrade doc specifically targeting gaiacli users (related also to #8633)
