Hello Cryostat community!
Cryostat 3.0.0 is coming very soon. You may or may not have noticed that development on that has been happening in a separate repository. That's because 3.0 is a major rewrite of the main Cryostat container component, enough so that it made more sense to start from a fresh git history and work on 3.0 in parallel with 2.4.0/2.4.1.
Now that 3.0 is so close and 2.x development/maintenance is stopping, we have renamed the repositories to better reflect the state of things.
This repository was previously known as cryostatio/cryostat, and is now cryostatio/cryostat-legacy. This contains the original codebase from the very first commit of what has grown into Cryostat, up to the latest 2.4.1-snapshot and 2.5.0-snapshot development and 2.4.0 release.
The other repository was known as cryostatio/cryostat3 since it's where the code for 3.0 lives. Since this is hopefully where the project sources will live for the indefinite future, it has been renamed to reuse the cryostatio/cryostat name. https://github.com/cryostatio/cryostat3 should now redirect to https://github.com/cryostatio/cryostat , so any existing links to the source repository in any articles, blog posts, bookmarks, etc. should lead you to the correct up-to-date repository.
Thanks for following along, and I hope 3.0's new features and capabilities help enable better monitoring and profiling for your OpenJDK applications very soon!
