Generator task exceptions not accessible in UI

Exceptions thrown by the generator task from the generateTaskContext method (and possibly from other tasks) are not accessible in UI. The task information page merely says "Task encountered an unknown exception", the exception dump is only available in the host runtime log (as the error trace field of a log handler message).

This is strange especially given that the UI does contain an error trace column, which remains empty.
