New version has just been released, which contains the ERD feature. Right click on the tables and you can see the option in the context menu. |

MySql Workbench lets you see a picture of your database layout called an EER diagram (Through a feature called "Reverse Engineer"). I searched around, but couldn't find anything like that for vscode. It would be super helpful to have it there too.
