html docs: links cause line breaks #1110

Every time there is a link in the source, it causes a line break / new paragraph in the output html documentation.

For example, there are two links in this paragraph:

gordonwoodhull added this to the v2.0 milestone

Figured this out. We were forcing linebreaks everywhere with markdown.hardwrap, which we don't need.
