This did work for me just fine. Specifying 9.0.100 sdk version in global.json might help.

I used macOS，and the current dotnet is 9.0.1❤️

On Windows, I used Visual Studio Installer and updated to 17.12.0 and I think that automatically updated my workloads. I was able to build new .NET 9 MAUI apps as well as migrate existing .NET 8 apps to .NET 9 successfully.

Some thing got fixed that the sdk had been upgraded to 18.0.8314 that could successfully install all workload on my own mac.

After upgrading VS to 17.12, I'm getting errro of No Simulators (XCode mismatch).

I think you need to upgrade your macOS and XCode to the latest version.
XCode doesn't have any backward compatibility so you always need to keep your OS and XCode latest.

So after updating to visual studio 17.12.3 and migrating .Net 8 to .Net 9 MAUI, it is not painful to run Android Application. In debug mode it is taking around 10 minute to build and run deploy the application on real android device. Sometime it take more than 30 minutes.

Any specific setting required?

I successfully upgraded from .NET 8 to .NET 9 in .NET MAUI, but I am having trouble with "ImageButton". Resizing is not working at all (HeightRequest and WidthRequest are ineffective).
