Discussions are the place where you can build the wisdom that will eventually turn into spells. Discussions are generally meant to turn into concrete changes to Spellbook (changes to spells or new spells entirely). Please head over to #spellbook on our Discord if you have a specific question about using or contributing to Spellbook.
Having a discussion is not a prerequisite to write a spell, but it’s a good practice if you want to propose a large or influential change.
Discussions are split by topic:
General – this is where the team will bring proposals and requests for comment for fundamental changes that significantly affect the community or the structure of Spellbook.
New sector spell ideas – Do you want to see a new sector on dune? This is the place for you. Create a discussion with your proposal, hype it on Discord, and our team will help prioritise the work.
Sectors (dex, nft, labels, etc.) – There’s a discussion category for each major sector in Dune’s Spellbook, use these sections to start discussions on specific changes to the sectors (e.g. new metrics, new analytical approaches, major changes to how the sector is structured)
If you simply want to add a new project to a sector, feel free to open a PR with the changes, or add the feature request as an issue
