Notifications appear as large boxes

Issue description

Instead of creating visible box, there's a large transparent window which covers the top half of the screen or more (which is annoying when I'm trying to submit a bug report).

Everything else seems to work:
dunst -print prints notifications properly
I can click for them to go away

Installation info

• Version: Dunst - A customizable and lightweight notification-daemon 1.7.3 (2021-12-08)
• Install type: package
• Window manager / Desktop environment: dwm

I don't have any config

This could be a dwm issue. Have you tried other versions of dwm or another window manager/desktop environment?
Has it worked for you before? If so, what versions did work?
