Feature request: option to show first and last page as single image in 2 page image mode

Many 'comic' books has 2 pages to be shown as a single image. These are the even / odd numbered pages.
In 2 page mode these images are show as the left or right part of a 2 page display.
An option to select a mode for displaying the first/last page as single page or prefixed with an empty page left / right respectively is desired.
