Recently I have discovered Function Multiversioning (FMV) which is being used in Clear Linux. http://schd.ws/hosted_files/ossna2017/6b/Boosting_GLIBC_GCC.pdf https://github.com/clearlinux/make-fmv-patch
It would be really nice to implement FMV as part of EB as away to avoid having to compile for each microarchitecture and also to save space.
How feasible do you think it is?
