Feature Request

What is the current behavior?

All menus and messages are in English, regardless of system/interface language.

What is the expected or desired behavior?

I’d like to have as much as possible in my (and my colleagues’) native language, i.e. German, like most of the other parts.

If you could extract TeXlipse’s strings to Eclipse babel, I’ll happily provide German translations (already helped with other plugins).

Please provide use cases for changing the current behavior:

My colleagues don’t understand English very well. ;)

It’s generally usual to use some means of i18n (e.g. gettext).

If you can tell me what to do, I’ll try (I don’t speak Java).

@turesheim , @fiee ,

I think we can divide this into phases.

  • Phase 1: I can add i18n for Menu items dialog box titles.
  • Phase 2: @fiee, you can help to add German conversion of it.
  • Phase 3: I can add i18n for other remaining items.
  • Phase 4: @fiee, you can help to add German conversion of remaining items.
