Description

In today's dev call, we discussed the topic of issue triage. Currently in this repo there are ~1400 open tickets -- some of which could probably be closed.

Solution

Instead of relying on an auto-close bot, we explored the idea of committers/community members spending some time, on a recurring basis, to look at the backlog and close tickets that are no longer valid.

This ticket is designed to coordinate that effort and discuss it further.

Author

From my POV, someone from Che Plugins team will spend 0.5 - 1 day every three weeks to help with the backlog triage.
