Your closest parallel is probably the aiopg instrumentation that @beniwohli added awhile back: #668

Keep us posted if you decide to try to tackle that, we can answer questions.

how do I enable this for my application that uses asyncpg based Tortoise ORM? I am also using sanic framework for my app which currently doesn't have any official support from elastic.
