Steps to reproduce (assumes NVDA or JAWS Screen Reader or similar)

NVDA Screen Reader is a free Screen Reader which can be downloaded from the NV Access Website
Deque has a page of shortcuts for help on using NVDA as well as a Quick Reference Guide for using NVDA

  1. Launch NVDA from the workstation
  2. Open the uptime page in the browse.
  3. Press "T" to navigate to the first (and press "T" again to navigate to subsequent tables, or Shift-T to navigate to the previous table).

NotTables

Actual Result

There are two tables on the page (Monitor status and Error list), however when navigating with the screen reader it would be beneficial if the "Endpoint status" and "Status over time" components were tables as well.

Expected Result

Potential captions could be:
Endpoint status table with 1 row of data and 3 columns showing 3 up, 2 down, total 5

Status over time table with 1 row of data and one column showing a chart of uptime vs downtime over the period of 18 Apr through 28 Apr

Meta Issue:

Accessibility Audit for Kibana 7.0
Make Uptime App Accessible for 7.0

Kibana Version:

7.0

Relevant WCAG Criteria:

###[WCAG Criterion](link to https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/?versions=2.0)

WCAG 2.0 1.3.1Navigable (Level A??)
While this is not specifically a violation of any specific WCAG item, converting the 2 non table charts into tables would make it easier to navigate the content of the page for individuals limited to screen reader usage.

While it doesn't make sense to convert those widgets to tables, we should have better aria labels for those widgets to make things more accessible.

We are tracking the status over time widget here: #35352, so we can close this once we've updated the snapshot widget at the top left.
