There are some pieces of the code in kibana app which will not be migrated to the Kibana platform because the features are deprecated and will be removed with the cutover to 8.0.

These should be consolidated into a single place to have clear boundaries of code that still has to be moved and code that will be left behind.

Client

  • src/legacy/core_plugins/kibana/public/dashboard/dashboard_config.js
  • src/legacy/ui/public/directives/saved_object_finder.js (Timelion)
  • src/legacy/ui/public/saved_objects/ui/saved_object_save_as_checkbox.js (Timelion)
  • Timelion app

As there is just a single one location, everything is fine as-is.
