While the Timeline component supports persisting user-selected columns via its saved object, the EventsViewer component (used for the Events and upcoming Alerts and Signals tables) does not having a backing saved object and thus does not support saving user-selected columns.

To ensure whatever columns a user selects for these tables persist between page refreshes, this is an enhancement request to save off this configuration to local storage.
