Describe the feature:
Requested by a user. Their end users are not technical and only use dashboards. Occasionally they get to too many buckets error
image

Describe a specific use case for the feature:
They ask for a more friendly non-technical error message that will explain what the problem is and what to do to fix it. For example "You are trying to query too much data, please either reduce the time range you are looking at or change the intervals of the visualizations."

@KOTungseth can you help with the wording here.

How about:

The TSVB query exceeds the maximum number of buckets. Reduce the time range or change the interval.

The TSVB query exceeds the maximum number of buckets

Lets have a message without mentioning buckets.
Along the lines of, "You are trying to query long time range in a very granular way. Reduce the time range or change the interval."

How about:

The query is too large. Reduce the time range or change the interval.

"query is too large" is technically inaccurate, so probably not the best phrasing. What about combining the suggestions to "Your query attempted to fetch too much data. Reducing the time range or changing the interval used usually fixes the issue."

Much better! It explains the issue, then gives the user a way out of their problem.
