Kibana version:
4.5.4

Browser version:
Google Chrome 55.0.2883.75 / Mozilla Firefox 50.0.2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set time range to such that doesn't contains any data to be displayed
  2. Change the time range that contains some data which can be displayed
  3. Check the map. There is only small rectangle of map displayed in top left corner of visualization.

I was unable to reproduce the issue using the exact versions and steps specified. Would it be possible for you to provide more details, in particular the browser console log?

Hey, sorry for the late response. After trying to move the map following error appears:

kibana_fatalerror

Do You think that in can be caused by map server that I am using?

That sounds like a possibility. Maybe the server returns tiles with invalid dimensions (e.g. (0, 0)). Are you using a custom tile server? Did you look at the network responses it returns for the tiles?

We are using geoserver as custom map server, although as far as I investigated server doesn't get any requests after back to time range with data.

this seems to be a dupe of #6343?
