elastic_agent package exports dashboards. We should link to those dashboards, with a filter on agent ID, from the agent details page (probably somewhere in the header area? ping design for input). As part of this work, we should also investigate if links to Logs & Metrics UIs would be helpful.

I think we can add a "View agent dashboard" button to the page header of the agent details page.

Since the header area is starting to get crowded with information and causing layout issues for agent's with long names, I'm also proposing that we move the meta information into the "Overview" panel. Some of this information already appeared there and was a bit redundant being in two places. Summary + screenshot of small changes below:

  • Move status, last activity, policy, and agent version to the Overview panel
  • In the overview panel, remove the "Integrations" section since they appear on the right
  • Change monitor logs / metrics to read "Enabled" / "Disabled" rather than True/False.
