Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We have now investigated both PSA and gatekeeper as a replacement for PSPs. We have decided that we want to try to replace it with a combination of both.

Describe the solution you'd like
The idea is to use PSA for coarse grained control and gatekeeper for fine grained control. The PSA used in a namespace have to match the most privileged pod in that namespace, then we use gatekeeper to lock everything down as much as possible.

Use #1444 as a basis.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Additional context

Velero and kured do not seem to have their own PSPs, but check if they use e.g. the privileged PSP.

Definition of done:

  • We have replaced all PSPs for velero and kured.
