When using @lampholder's particular build, two RiotBots appear. On my local build, this is not the case 😇

The solution -- without making more invasive changes to move from the deferred_action to async actions -- will be to test whether the user is a guest at the point of dispatching the deferred action to start a chat with the welcome user.

Closing this with the intention of improving the slightly worrying deffered_action pattern to be something much more powerful and maintainable (such as using async action creators).
