Modify the narrative in the first LOs to:

  • describe the general types of platforms (Google Suite to Cloud, GitHub to version control based platform, Coursera to LMS, Zenodo to repository),
  • mention the cases where some functions of the platforms are under license,
  • provide multiple examples of each (linked to both the platform and a tutorial on how to use it).

Keep specific examples in the exercise (Tables 1.1, 1.2, 1.3).

While doing this, standardize if "FAIRification" and "FAIRify" or all "fairification" and "farifying" ... etc...

I will add here comments about the text, Bruna feel free to migrate them to separate issues or target them while doing the editing above:

  • Lisanna: related to LO " Describe the four phases of training materials life cycle (development, running course, sharing, archiving)" and "Phase 2 Delivery", I could add much more about feedback here, but maybe not in context.
  • Lisanna: related to LO "List the time-boundaries implications of choosing technologies such as Google Suite, GitHub/GitLab, Zenodo, a web portal and a Learning Management System (LMS)", I propose to change "time-boundaries" to "time-bounded implications"? or maybe just "implications"?
  • Nazeefa comments: first makes sense, or time-dependent implications?
  • Lisanna: related to LO "Compare the advantages and disadvantages of the platforms in each of the four phases", This is partially covered by the following sections. I will try to add some non-overlapping content but I don't know if this deserves a full paragraph at this stage. I suggest changing this to "Compare the different platform features to prioritise in the different phases"
  • Nazeefa comments: +1! or "Compare the different platform features to prioritise for each of the four phases (or each of the phases)"? I feel heading is still missing a keyword i.e. prioritise what.
  • Nazeefa: related to "Table 1.2 FAIR x Platforms", I think this table could be sufficient in helping to address the LO "Compare the advantages and disadvantages of the platforms in each of the four phases" mentioned above. or is it still necessary to go into details of advantages and disadvantages of platforms in a context of FAIR?
  • Lisanna comments: I just added a comment that is redundant with yours here, sorry for not noticing... basically, I agree with you :)
