Culture / Community

  • Exist with maximum overlap with active communities (Unreal seems best right now for this type of work)

Building

  • Get away from dependencies hell
  • Runtime hot-reload code

Interacting

  • More auto-generated interfaces
  • Data in more generic format that can be universally viewed / debugged (e.g. MongoDB style)

3D

  • Support decent drawing functions (e.g. ambient-occlusion, etc)
  • Streaming mesh support is becoming increasingly less important
