The package name hal has historically referred to software from https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/hal/. While Debian and Ubuntu do not appear to be using the package name hal anymore, packaging this project as hal could lead to user confusion with the old package. hal also has poor search optimization, returning numerous unrelated results with this project not even appearing within the first ten pages.
Do you have any preferences or suggestions for alternative package names? Perhaps emsec-hal? Or hal-emsec? Searching for "emsec hal" in the search engines I tried returns this project as the first result.

I found an old ppa that used the package name hal-reverse (last succesfully packaged v2.0.0; attempt to build v3.3.0 failed). Searching for "hal reverse" in search engines returns this project as the first result.
