Proposal to mark etcd-io/maintainers as public archive #19

Thanks for the input team. I'm hopeful we can have a majority decision from @etcd-io/maintainers-etcd. In the event we don't get a majority I propose we invoke lazy consensus as outlined in our Governance doc here:
Based on three weeks from issue creation that would be 13th October to be able to proceed with the archival. |

Checking in on this issue we now have 3/6 etcd-io/etcd maintainers approving. @spzala Can you please take a look and give this an lgtm if all good to you? That would give us maintainer majority to proceed. |

@etcd-io/maintainers-etcd many thanks for your attention on this, we now have maintainer majority (4/6) voting to proceed with no votes against. Can one of you please do the honors to update this repository to archived in github to close this off? 🙏🏻 |
Sub issue under etcd-io/etcd#16367.
This etcd sub-project has been inactive for a significant period, with the last meaningful activity occurring in 2019. Given the repository is no longer used, I propose marking this repository as a public archive.
Reasoning:
Inactivity: The repository was created as a meta / management repository for the etcd project however stopped being used in 2019.
Clarity: Marking the repository as a public archive would provide clarity to anyone that stumbles across it and would ensure no time is wasted creating issues here.
Resource Allocation: Keeping inactive repositories in the active organization may create confusion and require unnecessary resource allocation responding to issues etc.
Next steps
I kindly request @etcd-io/maintainers-etcd review the proposal and please provide feedback.
