Pardner, what is it?

A pardner is basically a partnership among people to save collectively.
Several people pool funds by contributing a fixed sum of money over a specified period. The accumulated sum is then withdrawn by each person based on an initial agreed period of time.

Example: 💰

• 4 people pool £100 each every month
• month 1 = person A gets £400
• month 2 = person B gets £400 ect.

How to help:

Maybe create an app so that everyone involved in a pardner can have some transparency and organization

• How many people are in the pardner, and their names
• When and if people have paid into the pot
• Verification that they have paid
• When its your month to recieve the money
• How much is in the pot

Who are the stakeholders?

• People who can only save fairly small amounts
• People who struggle getting into a savings habit
• People who are saving to do something big i.e. holiday, car

What is currently being done to solve this problem?

Not sure yet, will need to do some research...

Someone on a call mentioned Kwanda to me and it reminded me of this idea! Seems like they're doing some cool stuff with a similar idea.
