Keep Map state when navigating to another page

Is it possible to keep the state of the Map when navigating between two pages using standard Flutter Navigator 2?

I basically would like it to keep the same Camera Position, have the same layers and symbols when I navigate from Page 1 to Page 2.

I tried using a shared global key without any luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions to achieve this?
