Downloading stuck infinitely

Iceraven version 2.17.2

I have been unable to download anything using Iceraven for a few versions now. Every download will be stuck infinitely after starting until I kill the process. The type of download does not make any difference. Following is a typical download notification:

There is no problem downloading with other browsers eg. Brave, Chromium.

Please make sure storage related permissions are enabled. And you should compared with firefox android official since Iceraven didn't change any code about downloading.

That is, it does not recognize that it is an installation file.

The problem is with main FF code.
So I use external download manager FDM and problem solved.

Thank you for your guidance; But the developer should solve this app in the next versions so that we don't need an external downloader.
