Create a new companion system as its own separate script(s). Fix the colliding issues with companion pushing/ getting too close to main character. We will be adding swappable companions down the line, therefore it is better to keep that in mind when implementing the companion system. The companion will also have a magic type with weakness to certain types of abilities.
Additional: better to add different behaviors to the NPC companion. using key-bindings to follow / attack / heal, might resolve a lot of these issues.
