The specific video included inside the KQM ticket. We can see here that Kazuha has pyro aura on himself up until a few frames before the burst hitmark. The burst ends up absorbing Cryo from the Lawachurl. From this we can conclude that the aura check at most a few frames before the hitmark.

Based on frame counting the (30 FPS?) video, we see that Kazuha loses the Pyro aura at frame 110, and the burst hits at frame 115. This means that the aura check is somewhere between 10 frames to 0 frames before the hitmark of the burst. For convenience I've used 1 frame before the hitmark of the burst.
