Integrate into nextcloud server

Hey @gino0631 !

I think it should be great to have the metadata app integrated inside Nextcloud server directly.
I am thinking about having a proper API so that any app can request metedatas about a file.
Potentially also available as dav properties? I remember I talked to you about it a while ago iirc :)

Do you have a mail so I can invite you to our community chat?
Maybe we can schedule a call with others or have an exchange about the goals and how to achieve that?

@gino0631 get/edit tags with dav, have it available for other apps more seamlessly.
Make sure this app is shipped with nextcloud core. Allow the Photos app to access/edit them... etc.

Anything that would make this more integrated is a win

Allowing the photos app to access EXIF tags would be a great solution/workaround for this little show stopper nextcloud/server#15192

The maps plugin also has some trouble with image metadata (and much already written code).
They might also benefit from this.

Trying Nextcloud to move away from Google Photos and one big problem is that pics I am uploading seem to be grouped as if they had been taken the day I uploaded them. I would be interested in integrating this plugin to nextcloud if that could fix this issue.

If this is done, it would be nice if it were possible to disable reverse geocoding via Nominatim (for enhanced privacy). See #84

The availability of features mostly depends on developer resources, not on the location of the code.

@rodrigoreyes79 I tend not to upload files using the Nextcloud UI because of the file dates not being preserved. Instead, I upload everything using SFTP to a folder, and share it using Nextcloud.
