Dear @go-gomail team, @alexcesaro,

It is possible to add new team members?

Can you add me and @wneessen:

A lot of improvements have been done since the official development ending (2016-04-11).

Thanks in advance.

Just to make it clear. I have no association with the person that opened this issue and I have no interest in maintaining this project or being added as a team member.

To be clear, @wneessen by e-mail about @alexcesaro and gomail project:

This will not happen. The original maintainer of the project unfortunately passed away in 2016: #182
I've already tried to contact Github to have them archive the project, but they will only take such requests from direct relatives.

In any case, go-gomail/gomail is not the "original project" of wneessen/go-mail. My go-mail version is written from scratch (with some small parts ported from go-gomail/gomail) but it's not a fork or in any way affiliated. The structure is different and there is not a lot of similarities, except of that both can send mails :D

So, I am not sure, even if somebody can re-alive the project, that I will be of help. I am fully supporting my go-mail project, so it would be not fair to my community to invest time, that I could spent on their request, on someone elses project.

I am of course, always willing to help with knowledge and assistance in issues.

Not sure why you are publishing email conversation in a public forum. In any case, I would ask you to stop spam-tagging me in issues.
