A wildcard Tile for autotiles

So I was creating a simple autotile for a hole but I had one design that would map to multiple types of tiles
for the bitmask

I was wondering if its possible to make a wildcard tile
It could have applications in figuring out what types of tiles you missed or its an opportunity to give you less work for simpler tile maps
